Today’s job market for financial managers and executives is good, and candidates should be looking for counsel as much as leads from their search consultants. The pattern of locking on to the first offer that shows up must be broken as over time there will be numerous opportunities. It is now advisable to take more of a long range career view by discussing options with objective and trusted counsel, particularly when dealing with the pressure applied by “close the deal” contingency recruiters. Retained search consultants, without fear of losing a fee, tend to be more objective, as if the job is turned down, they move on to the next candidate or recruit new ones.
We enjoy the role of resource, partner, mentor and advocate. It is our intention to cultivate career long consultative relationships as
finance managers move from candidates to clients and perhaps back to candidates again. We welcome the opportunity to assist
you in any way we can.
